Miller Rides Redding Ridge to `Precious' Victory

Jockey Richard Migliore was supposed to ride Redding Ridge in the $36,925 Dearly Precious Stakes today, the final day of Pimlico's spring meeting. But a spill at Belmont Park Monday put Migliore in a New York hospital awaiting back surgery, and his replacement, Donald Miller Jr., rode the horse to a half-length victory over Caromine.
