Terni's return triumphant as Cutters name Tornadoes

After missing two weeks with a dislocated index finger on his
glove hand, New Haven County Cutters shortstop Chas Terni started his
own welcome back party. After a two-hour rain delay, Terni drove in
the deciding run in the fourth inning of a 5-1 win over the Worcester
Tornadoes at Yale Field Tuesday night.
"It feels great," said Terni. "I can't sit out too long, I have to
play. My timing is just a hair off, but a couple more days and I'll
start getting it."
Terni seemed to be fine as he singled to left, knocking in his
