UK drivers put the brakes on stability
|
ALTHOUGH life-saving anti-lock brakes are now mandatory on all new
cars, optional electronic stability control is being snubbed by UK
motorists.
Now a major campaign to promote its uptake has been launched.
Research reveals that British buyers are almost at the bottom of
the league table for the fitment of the life-saving technology.
The European Commission is looking to make ESC mandatory on all
new cars by 2012.
