Kristyn Abel is the best softball pitcher in the area.
After leading Madison to the Virginia AAA state championship a
year ago, Abel has the Warhawks looking to repeat. Unbeaten in 10
starts and with only one loss in 50 decisions since she returned to
Vienna from Indiana, where she pitched Warren Central to a state
title as a freshman, Abel's success can be summed up in a
word-control.
