STEVEN Gerrard believes his England midfield partner Frank Lampard
could be suffering from self doubt after his World Cup goal drought.
But Gerrard has confidence in the Chelsea player to make a
significant contribution before the tournament ends.
Lampard - who took part in yesterday's final training session
after turning his ankle in training on Thursday - netted three goals
in four games during Euro 2004 but has squandered a host of chances
in Germany.
It is in sharp contrast to the finishing power which brought him
more than 20 goals for Chelsea last season.
