HE'S short and balding and has a face that's perfect for radio -
so what is it about Billy Joel that makes people travel from all over
the UK and pay over pounds 70 to see him in Birmingham?
On the evidence of last night at the NEC it's because he puts on
one heck of a show with material ranging from beautiful ballads to
raucous rock'n'roll.
