After seven years of dust and dying wildebeests, the Kalahari has
bounded back to life. It has been raining since November.
The Bushmen of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, whose forebears
have hunted and gathered food here for more than 10,000 years, are
again, after the longest drought of their lives, surrounded by the
makings of the good life.
