The Communist party in Croatia, Yugoslavia's second largest
republic, may soon be looking for more paying tenants to share the
costs of its glass skyscraper headquarters.
"We certainly can't keep the whole building. It would be much
too expensive," said Ivica Racan, 46, who was elected Croatia's new
Communist leader this month at a history-making congress that began
the process of turning the League of Communists here into just
another party.
