Poll taxes Labour

`Sorry Helen, sorry Michael -- but we really do think we can spend
our own money better than you."
That's the message voters have sent Labour in Fairfax New Zealand-
ACNielsen's new poll.
Three-quarters of the public want tax cuts. Seven out of 10 Labour
voters want them. Even when public spending cuts are factored in, 64
per cent still want tax cuts now.
The result to this single question in the Fairfax NZ poll blows
one of Labour's key re-election strategies clear out of the water.
