Sheep congress draws experts
|
Experts from around the world will attend a six-day Congress on
Coloured Sheep from November 12 in Christchurch.
Breeders and enthusiasts from Australia, Canada, the United
States, Britain, Japan, Brazil, Algeria, Zimbabwe and the Falklands
have indicated they will make the long journey for the congress.
Among the 50 speakers will be US sheep breeder Dr Phil Sponenburg,
who specialises in sheep genetics and primitive sheep breeds.
Black and coloured sheep will be penned in a marquee at the
congress venue at the Chateau on the Park Hotel. The sheep will
