A decrease of media plucking at the heartstrings regarding a young Sri Lankan woman (described as a "young child") opens an objective view of the known facts.

The abused victim (police complaints? convictions?) entered NZ misrepresenting her refugee situation. She was clumsily deported home, there to be treated, presumably, like others in this sad situation.

Now there is a move to allow her readmission to NZ because she was happier here.
