Te Mania Angus created a new sale day record for the South Island
at their Annual Bull Sale at Parnassus, grossing $647,900.
The final hammer fell for a total clearance of the 107 22-month
bulls offered for an outstanding sale average of $6055. Top price of
$11,000 was obtained on three occasions, the first to the joint bid
of W. Chisnall, The Downs Angus Stud, Hawarden, and B. Johns,
Culverden Downs Angus Stud, Culverden. This was for Te Mania 363 by
