The spectacular views on the Queen Charlotte Track in the Marlborough Sounds will take your breath away.

The limbs were stiff at the end of the third day. Walks with the dog around the block had not prepared them for hikes of several hours at a time on the Queen Charlotte Track in the Marlborough Sounds. By the fourth day, however they'd stopped protesting. The mind was vaccuum cleaned. The feet were programmed for the final 20km.

The pity was that I hadn't allowed time to walk...
