KETTERING -- Kettering resident Carolyn Louise Hall Jones, 58,
newly elected president of the Ohio Society, Colonial Dames XVII, a
group of women that have authenticated their ancestors in this
country to the founders who settled the 13 original colonies before
1701, is one busy woman.
When she isn't doing needlework or scrap booking, she's collecting
snippets of early American history, genealogy, and her own family
history. Walls of framed counted cross stitch and needlepoint work in
her home show traces of Colonial Williamsburg where she and her
husband, J. Earl Jones, and three children ...
