FAIRBORN -- Celebrating Our Heritage is the theme of the 14th annual Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, which will be celebrated in April at Wright State University.

May marks the anniversary of both the arrival of the first Japanese immigrants to America in 1843, and the completion of the Golden Spike in 1869, which highlighted the contributions of Chinese Americans in building this country's transcontinental railroad.
