Morgan State Professor

Augustus Adair, 56, a Morgan State University political science professor who had been executive director of the Congressional Black Caucus from 1973 to 1975, died of cancer May 12 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.

Dr. Adair had been a member of the faculty at Morgan State since 1963. In 1968, 1972 and 1974, he had managed the campaigns for former representative Parren Mitchell (D-Md.).
