Cambodian Resistance Seeks U.S. Military Aid; Son Sann: Washington Ready to Deliver

Cambodian resistance leader Son Sann said yesterday the Bush administration is ready to begin providing military aid to his and other noncommunist forces there for the first time as the 10-year-old war moves into a decisive phase.

Son Sann, a former Cambodian prime minister and leader of one of the two noncommunist factions in the conflict, said he had been told of the U.S. policy shift in meetings here this week with senior American officials.
