Smithville Ruritans hope to revive one of the village's longtime traditions

SMITHVILLE -- It's back, and if you're hungry, that's a good
thing.
Ruritans are reviving the village ox roast after a 20-some-year
absence and they're telling everyone.
In its heyday, the annual ox roast attracted people from all over
the county, said Maynard Yoh of the Ruritans.
Crowds covered the field, according to several people who remember
