Frenette battles, collects 4th victory

SCARBOROUGH - Rick Frenette captured his fourth victory of the season in the Pro Series at Beech Ridge Speedway Saturday night. Frenette led from the drop of the green but had a mirror full of Steve Carrier challenging him the entire 40 laps.

J.R. Barill chased down the leaders. Weaving in and out of slower traffic Frenette held Carrier and Barill at bay. At the checkered, Frenette edged out the duo by less than a car length. Jay Sands and divisional point leader, Bub Bilodeau, filled the top five
