UMPI, UMM men each win two games

PRESQUE ISLE - The University of Maine-Presque Isle and UM- Machias men's basketball teams each won twice over the weekend at the Star City Basketball tournament.

On Sunday, UMPI defeated Boston Baptist 88-50 behind 22 points from tournament MVP Fabian Lennox and Jon Codrey's 10 points and nine rebounds. UMM edged St. Thomas University 78-74 as Gary Dussard had 19 points and eight rebounds, Bayi Handy scored 15 points and Wayne Clarke added 11 points and 11 rebounds.
