AARP officials on Tuesday cautioned the Maine Republican Party to stop using the seniors group's name in television ads against 2nd Congressional District candidate Democrat Mike Michaud.

"The multiple use of the AARP name in this ad creates the impression that AARP has 'pulled its support from Michael Michaud,'" said AARP associate counsel Michael Schuster in Washington, D.C. "The ad is at best misleading, and at worst false."
