Hall of Fame Pares List to 7 Finalists; Wood, Bradshaw, Griese Top Candidates

Willie Wood, a Green Bay Packers safety during the glory years of Vince Lombardi, was one of seven finalists for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame announced here today.

Wood-who was born and still lives in Washington, D.C.-and his late teammate, defensive tackle Henry Jordan, Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw and cornerback Mel Blount, Raiders offensive tackle Art Shell and linebacker Ted Hendricks, and Miami quarterback Bob Griese have one more step to take before gaining admittance to the Hall.
