Among the duties William "Junior" Hosea has performed in 29 years
with the Western Avenue Community Center was transporting children to
and from a preschool at the facility on Bloomington's west side.
He got to know them, connected with them, tried to help them
choose right over wrong.
Not all of them listened, then or later. But those who did bring a
sparkle to Hosea's eyes. He sees them in the next generation, in
