NEW YORK -- Key contributions from reserves in the first half kept Illinois Wesleyan's starters fresh for a second half surge which ended in a 74-58 women's basketball victory over Baruch College at ARC Arena Tuesday night.

"We played a much better second half than we did in the first," said IWU coach Mia Smith, whose team improved to 7-4. "We won that game because we played as a team in the second half."

Heidi Harnisch paced the Titans with 17 points and eight rebounds. Katie Blonn added 15 points and Amanda Glerum 11.
