Rudolph, 66, orchestrated the removal of the engine - insuring the

Poor man's Burgundy is still a rich sensation; TASTING NOTES Montagny Premier Cru pleasant, fruity Louis Latour, Montagny Premier Cru, 1995, $12. Louis Latour is one of Burgundy's best-known negociant firms. Their Montagny Premier Cru, made from the Chardonnay grape, often represents a good value. The 1995 vintage has plenty of fruit and just enough acidity. There is some oak, but it doesn't overpower. The pleasantly lingering finish, or aftertaste, is especially noticeable if the wine isn't served too cold. Allow it to warm up a few degrees after taking it from the refrigerator. Enjoy this wine with fish or a meatless pasta dish. Drink it over the next year or two.
