The Aronomink Golf Club, unable to meet the requirement for
minority members, has asked to be relieved of its agreement to host
the 1993 PGA national championship, the PGA of America said.
The search for another club to host the tournament will begin
today, PGA Executive Director Jim Awtrey said.
Aronomink, a private club in Newtown Square, Pa., an affluent
Philadelphia suburb, was awarded the PGA in 1988.
