Cyclotron Helps In Diagnosis of Diseases
A new cyclotron just installed in Albuquerque will bring the city
to the cutting edge in treatment and diagnosis of diseases from
cancer to Alzheimer's, according to those who will use it.
"This is just one element in a fabulous series of things feeding
together to make a beautiful evolution in how we care for our
patients," said Dr. Michael Hartshorne, a professor in the department
of radiology at the University of New Mexico.
The device, unveiled at a news conference Tuesday, came through a
