Two forts united

FORT A.P. HILL -- With the Base Realignment and Closure decision greatly affecting Fort Lee, it seems as if everyone has become involved, especially the base's young Quartermaster troops.

Every week, 300 to 400 of those troops make the commute from Fort Lee to Fort A.P. Hill in Caroline County for speciality training. For four days and three nights, troops train with live fire as well as many other tactics to prepare these logistics soldiers for combat in any terrain.
