Grasshoppers wing into view in late summer

I took my own advice of two weeks ago and rode my trike on the Great Allegheny Passage over the Continental Divide in Somerset County.

It was a beautiful Sunday. The sun was bright and warm, and the sky high and blue with just a touch of haze. The Great Allegheny Passage trail was smooth and easy to pedal, and there were lots of others on the trail enjoying the luscious day.

Not all my companions were human.
