CHICAGO (AP) - Memorial Stadium at the University of Illinois in
Champaign will get a major remodeling beginning after the season ends
this fall, the university's board of trustees decided Thursday.
The University of Illinois Board of Trustees gave final approval
to the $116 million project at its meeting in Chicago. The remodeling
will modernize the 83-year-old stadium and extend its life "another
