Support offered former members; Critics refer to Love Holy Trinity Blessed Mission as 'cult-like'

Jerry and Eileen Pins heard other families talk about how a
controversial religious group had disrupted their families.
"It lets people know they are not alone," said Jerry, of Dubuque,
about a new support group established by the Archdiocese of Dubuque
for former members of Love Holy Trinity Blessed Mission and for
families with members in the group. The support group meets on the
fourth Thursday of each month, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Caritas
Center at Mount Carmel.
