Hare Krishnas Fight Judgment

They say their religion has been defamed, their places of worship
are in jeopardy and that if it can happen to them, the same thing
could happen in court to Catholics, Jews or Protestants.
That's what followers of Hare Krishna, a Hindu sect, are telling
anyone who bothers to ask why they are chanting and praying around
the clock on the sidewalk in front of the National Archives. Since
Feb. 28, Krishnas taking turns on six-hour shifts have maintained a
vigil beneath a banner that says "Prayer Is Not a Crime."
