Douglas's Slate: Holyfield In September, Then Tyson

James "Buster" Douglas and his manager, John Johnson, headed yesterday for Las Vegas and meetings they hoped would result in a September heavyweight title defense against Evander Holyfield.

Johnson said deposed champion Mike Tyson would have to wait until next February and criticized Tyson promoter Don King for not showing enough "respect" for Douglas.

Holyfield's promoter, Dan Duva, said, "All we've done is agree to agree," nothing was set and if Douglas and Holyfield were to box next, Duva preferred June.

Holyfield, in Atlanta, concurred.
