The law firm of Heron, Burchette, Ruckert & Rothwell, which only
last summer boasted more than 200 lawyers and offices from Sacramento
to Moscow, plans to close its doors as of Friday.
"They are just closing down. They're not even going to have a
phone number" after Friday, said Jacquelin Finn of Schneider & Finn
Associates Inc., a legal headhunting firm here. She said associates
from Heron Burchette who have been calling in search of jobs said
