PICO RIVERA - Officials from Los Angeles County and the city of Pico Rivera agreed Thursday to come up with a legal strategy within the next two weeks on how best to secure an abandoned railroad bridge that was the scene of a shooting last week.

The graffiti-covered abandoned railroad bridge, which is privately owned, spans the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway near Beverly Boulevard and has been a nuisance for local agencies for "years," said Pico Rivera Mayor Pro Tem Ron Beilke.
