Cornucopia, the traditional symbol of the harvest

A cornucopia is the traditional Thanksgiving centerpiece. Also called horns of plenty, cornucopias represent a bountiful harvest.

Although cornucopias customarily are filled with gourds and fruits, you can put anything in them, says Teri Porter, a designer at Ranchview Floral and Interiors in Overland Park, Kan.
