Honors piled up for Washington star

Pasadena native Tim Kerr didn't have the kind of senior year that many of his classmates at Washington College enjoyed.

Instead of savoring his last hurrah of parties and social events around Chestertown, Kerr occupied his time with more worthwhile endeavors. This summer, it's paying off in spades.

Kerr, a two-time captain as a longstick midfielder on the Shoremen's lacrosse team, was named an honorable mention All- American for his play on the field as well as a USILA Scholar All- American for his efforts in the classroom, which saw him graduate with a 3.65 ...
