Dog's world: Info on the Belgian Malinois

I am interested in a Belgian Malinois, and would like to get one, but three friends have told me that this is a dangerous breed, and I should think of another breed instead. I would like your opinion, and a little about the background of the breed.

First, let's see what may cause a dog to become "dangerous." There are many reasons and here are some of the more common ones: lack of attention, no socializing, no training, isolation, tied to a doghouse and neglected, teasing, abusive treatment, no loving care.
