Do tests leave too many children behind?

If you pay attention to politics, you've heard about the No Child Left Behind policy. Sounds great, right, making sure students are getting adequate education? But what does that plan mean for us really? More testing, and more emphasis on the tests we're already taking.

According to this policy, standardized tests are a clear indication that students are learning. But how many of us really feel that standardized tests are a clear reflection of our knowledge?
