Biophysics company in research aimed at early cancer diagnosis

AVACTA, the biophysics company, is joining forces with Leeds
University to modify its laser technology to diagnose various types
of cancer in the early stages.
The research will be funded in part by Cancer Research UK.
Avacta specialises in technology that helps companies to bring
drugs to market quickly and cheaply by identifying problems with new
compounds at a much earlier stage than before, providing huge cost
savings.
