YORKSHIRE are poised to complete one of the most remarkable captures of recent times by signing Chris Adams, the captain of county champions Sussex, in a move that will send shockwaves through the English game.

The Yorkshire Post can reveal Adams, 36, is on the brink of a dramatic switch to Headingley Carnegie after being offered a lucrative four-year contract.
