MRS Isabella Beeton will, no doubt, be singing praises from the
grave.
The Prince of Wales is heading a campaign to revive mutton - the
meat of which Mrs Beeton in her legendary Book of Household
Management said: "both by connoisseurs and medical men, it stands
first in favour".
Traditionally from a sheep aged more than two years, mutton was
commonly eaten in Britain for centuries before the Second World War.
It now finds little favour among modern palate...
