MEKONG DELTA TARGETS US$1.5 BLN SEAFOOD EXPORTS BY 2005

According to VoV, Mekong Delta provinces are targeting seafood
export turnovers of US$1.5 billion by 2005 and US$2.5 billion by
2010. To achieve these targets, the provinces will, from now to 2005,
reallocate 15,000 ha of rice fields into areas suitable for raising
