Frustration for Pearce as revenge chance only leads to double loss

Ricky Pearce's hopes of a swift revenge were quickly flattened on
South Normanton's show at the Community Centre.
Having ended the night frustrated after answering a late call to
box in Sheffield four days earlier, Pearce was confident he could
reverse the decision in front of his home supporters.
His opponent both times was Lewis Taylor of Steel City, who was a
Junior ABA champion in 2006 at the same time as Pearce, though in a
different category.
The South Normanton light-heavyweight believed he had done enough
to beat Taylor over three rounds in Sheffield but the unanimous
points verdict ...
