Amani does her job

"IF making films tarnish our culture, let's do it more often!".
That controversial statement was made by the 19th Malaysian Film
Festival's Best Actress winner, Sharifah Amani, in her acceptance
speech at Putra World Trade Centre, last night.
Amani bagged the award for her role in Best Film, Gubra.
She started her speech with a statement that raised eyebrows: "I
sound stupid when I speak in Malay, so I will make my speech in
English."
After praising Gubra as the best movie she ever worked in, she
thanked director, Yasmin Ahmad for discovering her talent, when no
