Cough Misture Sales: CAP in The Malay Mail on Dec 26, 2003.
The problem with cough mixtures containing codeine is not new.
Those who want to sustain their drugs addiction have used the cough
mixture. The Ministry of Health (MOH) has not been hasty in banning
the sale of cough mixtures containing codeine because the mixture
benefits patients with dry cough.
Since 1985, MOH has taken steps to control the sale of cough
mixtures containing codeine such as limiting the pack size to 60ml
and 120ml and banning the import quota for ...
