Incheon to host next edition

THE Korean city of Incheon was given the right to stage the 16th
Asian Athletics Championship in 2005 on a day when the Asian
Athletics Association (AAA) formally accepted Ipoh as host of the
junior meet next year.
While Incheon had to stave off a challenge from Jordan in the
final balloting, Malaysia were the only bidders for the 11th edition
of the Asian Junior Athletics Championship (Ajac), which will be held
in Ipoh sometime in June next year.
Malaysian Amateur Athletics Union (MAAU) deputy president, Admiral
Danyal Balagopal Abdullah, gave a brief rundown on Ipoh's preparation
to the AAA ...
