Peter Page, chief executive of Software AG of Germany and
chairman of its Reston-based North American subsidiary, departed
abruptly from the software company last week, apparently after a
dispute with one of the founders.
An internal memo sent to executives of the company stated that
"because of basically different views in the management of the
business, irreconcilable differences have come about which could no
longer be bridged" in the board that manages the company.
