Hargreaves wraps up deal with acquisition of its rival

A MULTI-MILLION pound deal which will help create jobs in the
North-East was completed yesterday.
Durham-based industrial services and transport group Hargreaves
plc unveiled growth plans as it said it had reached a deal to acquire
its rival, Norec Limited, of Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
Not only is the acquisition expected to increase turnover at
Hargreaves, but the company is understood to be searching for a new
headquarters in the region to cater for its expanding numbers.
