Convention Intends to Show That Aerobics Has Arrived

The first D.C. Aerobics Convention, beginning tomorrow at the McLean Hilton, is designed to inform aerobics instructors about the newest ideas and equipment in the industry, as well as announce that the East Coast has arrived in the ever-growing world of exercise and fitness.

"We just felt it was time we had a major convention on the East Coast for fitness professionals," said Suzanne Olson, owner of Contours Exercise Studios in Arlington and one of the organizers of the event.
